About

1988 - 2002. Starting out with leading retailer - J Sainsbury gaining expertise in fresh and ambient category management and experience of holding accountability for store teams of +300 people.

 

2002 - 2006. Sales Manager for Europe’s busiest foodhall and one of the world’s best retailers – Selfridges and Co. Valuable insight gained in to fine food and the luxury market.

 

2006 - 2012. Fresh Foods Buying Manager for Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge. Responsibility for sourcing of all fresh food categories that include bakery, meat, fish, fresh fruit and veg, cheese and dairy, delicatessen and traiteur, sandwiches to go bar. Management of 8 buyers operating on site and then accountability to deliver the fresh food offer out to all UK regional Harvey Nichols stores based in Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds and Ireland.

 

2012 - 2016. Head of Sales and Marketing for an exciting and new artisan wholesaler specialising in Italian Foods. Key involvement in a new start up with special emphasis on sales in London that grew to a UK wide operation by year 3.

 

2016 - Present. The Food Consultant. New business undertaken providing consultancy services to food businesses of all shapes and sizes.
